  • At least B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from any university recognized by Govt. & UGC;
  • At least 04(four) years working experience as Executive Engineer in the relevant fields;
  • At least 12(twelve) years working experience as Assistant Engineer & above position in large Power utilities, of which 04 (four) years in the power project/planning & design/operation & maintenance of power plant or in the relevant field;
  • Must demonstrate experience in operation & maintenance of power system.

2. Name of Designations: Superintendent Engineer

No. of Posts: Civil-01

Basic Salary: 105,000/-

Age: Maximum 50 years (As on 11/11/2018)

Educational Qualification:

  • At least B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any university recognized by Govt. & UGC;
  • At least 04(four) years working experience as Executive Engineer/Equivalent position in the relevant fields;
  • At least 12(twelve) years working experience as Assistant Engineer & above position in civil construction project of which 08(Eight) years in Power Plant Construction Project/Large capacity industry construction project;
  • The incumbent most have adequate knowledge in Buildings Act, Road All Local Government Act, Town and Country Planning Act.

No. of Posts: Electrical – 02 & Mechanical – 1

Basic Salary: 105,000/-

Age: Maximum 50 years (As on 11/11/2018)

Educational Qualification:

  • At least BS.c in Electrical/Mechanical engineering from any recognized university;
  • At least 03 (three) years working experience as Sub-divisional engineer in the relevant field;

CPGCBL General Conditions:

  1. The post applied for must be marked 011 the top of the envelope mentioning his/her home district;
  2. Person employed in government/semi-government/autonomous organization and government owned company should
  3. No third class /division at any stage of the academic career shall be acceptable. Candidates passed in the grading system most possess at least CGPA 4.0 on a scale of ‘5.0 and a CGPA 2.75 on a scale of 4.0. Candidates passed in the conventional system (class/division) must possess at least 2nd class /division;

Coal Power Generation Company Job Compensation Package:

  • Basic Salary, House Rent allowance, Medical Benefits, Bonus, Gratuity and other Fringe Benefits will be given as per the pay structure and CPGCBL (Employees) Service Rules-2017;
  • Income Tax has to be paid by the employee.

Nature of the Service:

The initial contract period of the service shall be for 03 (Three) years and is renewable based on satisfactory performances subject to approval of Managing Director of CPGCBL up to 60 (sixty) years of age.
