The exam schedule for the appointment of the head and vice-head of private educational institutions has been published. The exam will be held in four phases at various centers in the capital on Saturday (April 18).

The Non-Government Teachers Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) released the routine on Thursday (April 9). At the same time, a copy of the routine has been sent to the Dhaka Deputy Commissioner and District Education Officer to take necessary arrangements for the exam.

The NTRCA said that this MCQ exam titled ‘8th NTRCA Recruitment (Head of Institution and Assistant Head) Exam-2026’ will be divided into four groups.

Exam Date: On 18^thApril (Saturday) 2026 at different times, 8^th NTRCA Gono Biggopti exam 2026 will be held.

A-Group (9 am to 10 am): Headmaster of Secondary School, Superintendent of Dakhil Madrasa, Principal (Graduate Pass College, Business Management and Fine Arts Degree College), Principal and Superintendent of Kamil Madrasa.

B-Group (11:30 am to 12:30 pm): Principal of Higher Secondary College, Principal of Fazil Madrasa, Principal of Fine Arts Pre-Degree College, Vice-Principal of Alim Madrasa and Co-Superintendent of Vocational.

C-Group (2 pm to 3 pm): Principals of Higher Secondary Schools, Vice-Principals of Secondary Schools, Principals of Kamil Madrasas, Principals of Alim Madrasas and Superintendents of Vocational.

D-Group (4:30 pm to 5:30 pm): Principals of Lower Secondary Schools, Vice-Principals of Graduate (Pass) Colleges, Vice-Principals of Fazil and Charukla Degree Colleges, Co-Superintendents of Dakhil Madrasas and Principals of Agricultural Educational Institutions.

But there are only preliminary test passed candidates can participate the written test. Those applicants will attend preliminary test, but not passed it. They will not able to attend written exam of 18^th NTRCA Exam.

Marks distributions of 8^th NTRCA Gono Biggopti Exam

Candidates will have to take part in the MCQ examination of 100 marks,
Preliminary Examination Pass Number wills 40,
There will be a total of 100 questions in this Preliminary Test,
Candidates will get 1 number for every correct answer in Preliminary Test,
However, 0.50 marks will cut down for each wrong answer.
