It is said that, the PSC Scholarship will be given only to the Topper candidates who gets at least GPA 3.00 out of 5.00. Under the Talent pool category, the scholars getting the GPA 3.00 will be given scholarship whereas, under General grade category candidates who got GPA 2.00 are eligible and given the scholarship.
Students from government primary schools will receive 80 per cent of the total scholarships, amounting to 66,000 slots. The remaining 20 per cent or 16,500 scholarships will be awarded to students from private schools or kindergartens.

PSC Scholarship Date 2026
The scholarship examinations were held nationwide earlier this year. In most districts, the exams took place from 15 to 18 April, 2026. For the three hill districts—Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban—the exams were conducted under a special schedule from 17 to 20 April.
A total of 650,000 students participated in this year’s primary scholarship examination nationwide. From this pool, 82,500 students will be selected for scholarships based on merit. However, the merit lists and quotas have been divided between government and private (kindergarten) schools.
Normally the primary scholarship result gets published between March and April. It would be the last week of the month of March or the first week of April month. Though every year the PSC Scholarship result gets published in this time, this year it also will be published in this time.

Who will get this PSC Scholarship?
Six scholarships will be given in each ward of union and municipalities in general quota. Of these three students and three students. Besides, after giving scholarship at the ward level, scholarship will be given to two students and two students in each upazila or thana from the remaining scholarship. On the basis of results of each division students, after giving three to 24 general scholarships from each division, four general scholarships will be preserved.
It has been learned that since 2009 the primary education closing examination has started. The next year Ibadayedi students started taking a closing test. After the launch of both the exams, instead of the different scholarship examinations, the merit list of the students of the closing is selected for the scholarship.
Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education, AFM Manzur Qadir, said that earlier some meritorious scholarships were held in the first class from the school. Others were deprived of not being able to participate in this examination. Considering these issues, merit and quota system has been introduced by abolishing scholarship test.
The results will be published on Sunday at the press conference on Sunday. Primary and Mass Education Minister Zakir Hossain will announce the results. At the time, officials of the ministry including secretary Akram Al Hussein will be present.
It is to be noted that the results of primary education closing (PEC) and Ibtadei examination were published on December 24. Now, 97 percent to 59 percent of the passes passed. And the rate of pass rate in Ibtadey 97.66 percent. However, the pass rate of the two examinations is 97.60 percent.
Apart from the 6th to 8th class, three-year scholarship facility will be given. According to the primary education department (DPE), the result of the closing and ebtedayi pass students’ scholarship will be published in March.
DPE related officials said, this year, about 8,500 students will be given scholarships based on the results of the fifth grade primary examinations concluding this year. In this, 33 thousand 300 students will get merit quote (Talentpool) scholarship. 49 thousand in general quota will get scholarship. The scholarships of merit quota can be obtained from the sixth to the eighth grade for every month, 300 rupees per month and the general quota will get the scholarship amount of 225 rupees.
